PLASKOLITE’S JIM RICHARDS ELECTED 2025-2026 IAPD PRESIDENT

PLASKOLITE is proud to announce that Jim Richards, Vice President of Strategic Accounts at PLASKOLITE, has been elected President of the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) for 2025–2026. The election took place during the 69th IAPD Annual Convention + connecX in Chicago, IL, where Richards officially assumed the role at the conclusion of the event.

 

Jim has dedicated 40 years to PLASKOLITE, building strong and lasting relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and supply-chain partners, leveraging his knowledge in the performance plastics industry.

 

Throughout his numerous years of involvement with IAPD, Jim has played an extensive role in leveraging IAPD’s initiatives and making the association stronger. PLASKOLITE is one of IAPD’s largest members, and Jim’s goals throughout his tenure as a leader has always been to encourage employees from PLASKOLITE to get more involved and deepen their industry relationships through leading committees and events. These much-needed additional task force functions provide IAPD a chance to better their initiatives and make the entire association stronger. Jim has also helped IAPD reach deeper into connections with the distributor market, making full use of his leadership talent.
