PLASKOLITE CELEBRATES ST. STEPHEN’S COMMUNITY HOUSE FOR 100 YEARS OF SERVICE IN COLUMBUS

COLUMBUS, Ohio—St. Stephen’s Community House, a Columbus nonprofit anchored in the Linden neighborhood of Columbus, is marking a significant milestone with a community celebration and a significant donation from a long time corporate supporter. To celebrate 100 years of service to Columbus, the community house will be presented with a $100,000 donation from Plaskolite and the family of company founder Donald Dunn, followed by a family friendly community celebration on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 3 p.m. 

Plaskolite’s CEO Mitch Grindley and members of the company’s senior leadership team will be on hand to present their gift.

It truly demonstrates their commitment to the Linden community and the mission of St. Stephen’s Community House,” St. Stephen’s Community House CEO Marilyn Mehaffie, said. “Great corporate partners like Plaskolite truly make a difference in helping us strengthen families and empower our community.” 

“Our connection to St. Stephen’s dates back to XXXX and is one of our most cherished community relationships,” Dunn said. “Our roots are on Joyce Avenue, in the heart of Linden, and we take tremendous pride in that. We are thankful for everything St. Stephen’s does in the Linden community and honored to be a longtime supporter of those efforts.”

Immediately following the check presentation, St. Stephen’s Community House invites the community to celebrate with their families at the agency located at 1500 E. 17th AVE. Columbus, OH 43219. Donatos, another longtime corporate partner is supplying free food for attendees; there will also be games, raffles, face painting and more.
